A Word

From Our Principal

” The Bonnyrigg Khmer School welcomes enrolments of school aged children. Our school offers a welcoming and safe environment that promotes an ethos of care, tolerance, trust and respect.

The school aims to strengthen students’ connections with their heritage language and culture through Khmer language classes based on different age and language levels and through a traditional Cambodian dance program.

Our skilled and committed volunteer teachers are mothers and former Khmer language students. Our teachers strive to engage students’ language learning in the classroom through hands on, student-centred and technology-assisted learning activities.
Through the school program, we endeavour to help students reach their potential by becoming successful learners with a love of languages and intercultural understanding and skills for their future.. “
